We need to calculate the volume of the concrete.

The solution is as follows :

**1. RAFT PORTION****: 1 X 3.0 ****X 3.0**** X 0.25 =2.25**
**2. PEDESTAL PORTION;**** 1 X 1.0 X 1.0 X 2.0= 2.0**
**3. COLUMN PORTION : 1 X 0.3 X 0.3 X 3.0= 0.27**
**TRAPEZOIDAL PORTION:**
**A1: 1.0 X 1.0 = 1.0**
**A2: 3.0 X 3.0 = 9.0**
**H: 0.75**
**FORMULA: **
**VOLUME = H/3 .{A1+A2+ SQRT(A1XA2) }**
** =0.75/3.(1.0 + 9.0 +SQRT( 1.0 X9.0)**
** =0.0.25(10.0+3.0)= 0.25 X 13=3.25**
**4. TRAPEZOIDAL PORTION****: = 3.25**

**TOTAL : 7.77 CUM**

**7.77 cuM x 35.29 Cft. = 274 Cft.**

**274 Cft /100 = 2.74 Brass.**
