Failure Analysis for New World Hotel

The New world Hotel in Singapore collapsed in 1986.
It was an unfortunate incidence which we as construction engineers must study so that we can learn from the same. A detailed analysis has been carried out about the reasons of this failure.
It was concluded that Dead Load was not considered while designing the building.
